In today’s volatile project landscape, change isn’t just a challenge—it’s the norm. Project controls teams are under increasing pressure to respond faster, manage risk more effectively, and deliver on time, even when the unexpected strikes.
What if you could move beyond reactive firefighting and instead, stay ahead of delays before they happen?
In this session, Andy Gabele, Director of Solutions Engineering at ALICE Technologies, will explore how AI is transforming project controls into a smarter, more proactive discipline with generative scheduling and optimization technology. Andy will also show you how teams are using this technology on multi-billion-dollar capital projects to optimize schedules and rapidly generate recovery scenarios, mitigate risks earlier, and build anti-fragile schedules that adapt to change.
Whether you’re managing capital projects, navigating tight deadlines, or trying to future-proof your schedule, this session will give you the practical tools and forward-thinking mindset needed to lead with confidence in a rapidly evolving industry.

Andy Gabele brings a deep foundation in construction and a passion for innovation to his role at ALICE Technologies. He holds a degree in Construction Management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. His career began at DPR Construction in Austin, Texas, where he was immersed in the full lifecycle of building delivery while also leading the company’s local innovation initiatives. This experience fueled his drive to challenge traditional processes and explore more efficient ways to plan, build, and manage projects.
Andy’s pursuit of technology-driven solutions led him to Procore Technologies, where he guided enterprise clients through technical evaluations and platform adoption. There, he played a key role in helping large construction teams implement digital tools that improved collaboration and project outcomes.
Today at ALICE Technologies, Andy is helping reshape the future of construction with generative scheduling technology. He works closely with industry leaders to demonstrate how AI-powered scheduling and simulation tools can unlock new efficiencies, improve decision-making, and reveal optimal paths forward that might otherwise go unseen.
